06 Nov WORMS GALORE WITH VOLCANIC ROCK DUST
Cheryl’s first priority when they moved into their new house near Inverness was to get the vegetable garden going.
Close investigation soon showed there was a problem as the soil seemed to be devoid of worms for the whole of their first year.
Cheryl decided to try volcanic rock dust and PAS 100 Green Goodness compost.
“This year it has been a whole different story.” says Cheryl.
“We added the volcanic rock dust and compost to the soil in the Autumn. By the middle of this year WE CANNOT DIG UP ONE SPADE FULL BUT THERE IS AT LEAST ONE BIG HEALTHY WORM IN IT.
In the summer we had a crop of the BIGGEST and TASTIEST STRAWBERRIES you could imagine. Right now we are digging up our FABULOUS PARSNIPS AND CABBAGES.
Yes, we are well pleased with the volcanic rock dust.”
